Ash and company began their travel back to Sunnyshore City to match with Volkner for Ash's last badge. They met Team Rocket trying to catch Ash's Pikachu. Sadly Team Rocket blasted off with Torterra's attack! Team Rocket was strayed without Meowth and the poor Meowth was found by Mami and her Glameow. They took care of the unresponsive Meowth and soon as Meowth woke up he saw Mami's Glameow and fell in love instantly. Team Rocket found Meowth and thanked Mami for taking care of Meowth and left.
Mami was on her journey on collecting badges when she met Ash and company. On the other hand Meowth was convincing Jessie and James to capture Mami's Glameow for their master Giovanni. Jessie and James were quiet convinced so they planned for the capture of Glameow. Along the way Ash's group together with Mami were heading forth when Team Rocket started their plan to capture Glameow and they succeeded in doing it.
On that night, Glameow's Pokeball was in the hands of Jessie so Meowth planned to steal it while Jessie was sleeping in midnight. Meowth released Glameow and said that he was afraid that Glameow will be part of the gang so he eloped Glameow boarding together in a river sailboat.
The following day, Ash used his Staraptor and Dawn with her Togekiss to traced up Team Rocket. James noticed a letter on Jessie's back after waking up so they read it and find out that Meowth is leaving together with Glameow. They planned to look for Meowth with their balloon, unfortunately they were traced by Staraptor and Togekiss and was trapped. Ash and company covered Team Rocket but Team Rocket told them that Glameow was with Meowth. Team Rocket made an alliance to Ash and co. in finding Glameow as well as Meowth and they were not failed.
Meowth has decided to battle Seviper and Monferno along with the rest of the Pokemon. He was as strong as the legendary Dialga and Palkia protecting Glameow. James released his Carnivine and used Bullet Seed on Meowth. Glameow was hit by the attack and all of sudden evolved into a Purugly! Meowth was desperate that Glameow has evolved and he fall out of love to Purugly. Meowth told Mami to use Purugly's Hyber Beam to team Rocket and they blasted off again!!!
